For some reason all the wind went out of my sails right after I drew this last week. I never really came up with a color scheme that I liked, but a good friend of mine is doing some guest colors on it, which I’ll post soon!
I figured that I’d just post the black and white version for now and I’ll be drawing some other comics soon—sorry for the comics slow-down lately, I’m not really sure what happened there…

If Ocarina of Time was a Children’s Book
It’s an art project from Vikki Chu who was tasked with reinterpreting something as a children’s story. She chose the Ocarina of Time, which I think we can all agree is a pretty great decision.
She works her way through the plot of the game in ten images, the rest of which you can see above, and any you can blow up to pretty much wallpaper size. Good work Vikki, and keep making video game art!
I gotta show this to my children’s book illustrator roommate.

The Not So Lost Woods (by zero-lives)
While playing the original Zelda (part of my list of games to play before the baby hits.) I was trapped in an endless struggle of man vs memory as I attempted to remember the route out of the lost woods. Sadly this is the way I live my life daily seeing as I have no navigational sense and must continually rely on gps to navigate me to the simplest and most common places. I have driven to Disneyland approximately a hundred times, each time like the first, lost and bewildered looking for the Matterhorn to poke from the sky.
