SMART PHONE INSPIRED PYS X REEBOK PUMP TWILIGHT ZONE BBERRY
Featuring a design inspired by smartphones, these badass Pick Your Shoes collab sneakers - the first of a three part collaboration - feature a design that looks more like the sneakers from an age where cell phones were almost as big as the tongues on Reebok’s high tops.
The tongue and toe feature a ‘B’ logo and print that you’ll recognize right away, and green and red Energy Return System tubes look just like the ‘answer’ and ‘end call’ buttons we’re all familiar with in today’s age of technology.
With a classy mix of retro and modern design elements, these sneakers will be dropping soon at PickYourShoes.
I kinda really want to rock these.

NIKE DUNK HIGH AC KHAKI
The Nike Dunk High is undeniably my favorite sneaker model in history. I have worked on Nike Dunks since I started in this industry, and they have treated me well for years. Nike has decided to treat me even better this year with a pair of Nike Dunk ACs that have a dope casual/dressed-up feel that I just can’t live without.
The khaki toned suede upper with subtle hints of white in the tongue sits atop an autoclaved (AC - pretty much vulcanized rubber) sole that has a very Blazer-type feel.
Buy these shoes now for just over €100 at overseas retailers like Titolo.
Not sure if I want these more or these.
DEFINITELY worth watching. I love what I do and the people who love doing it.

WE ARE 138 - SBTG MINI DOCUMENTARY
This video is beautiful. If you like art or sneakers, or even family or culture, you should watch it.
SBTG is one of the first custom shoe designers in the history of the art form, and this video provides insights into his life, how he got to where he is, and most importantly why he has chosen shoes as his canvas to get his artistic expressions out and into the world. He takes us into his home in Singapore and discusses privately what the country means to him and how he sees his work within its scope of culture.
It is a story of innovation, determination, and hard work through inspiration, and it is something you should certainly watch. It’s under 7 minutes and beautifully composed by Skylar Nielsen.

VANS OTW 2012 ADVOCATE VIDEO
Vans made big news into 2012 when they announced that Lupe Fiasco would join many other creative individuals to serve as line Advocates and OTW designers. At the Bread and Butter trade show next week, Lupe will join his new partners in Berlin for a special launch event.
The event will stream live on Stickam on January 18th at http://www.stickam.com/vans1966, but if you reside in Berlin a limited number of tickets are available here.
The video is a great photo journal and interviews of a bunch of inspiring people, and I suggest checking it out.
I did an art show with Lupe Fiasco once. He got two of my homie Shplinton’s paintings. He is a cool guy.

AIR JORDAN 2012 “YEAR OF THE DRAGON” IMAGES
The Air Jordan 2012 addition to Nike’s much-anticipated “Year of the Dragon” pack is by far its most robust. It takes interchangeable sock liners and insoles, flywire technology, and multiple themes which change the dynamic of the shoe, and puts all of them in a completely ill, Chinese-themed box to capitalize on the presentation opportunity.
The shoes will drop sometime early this year, and you can expect them to fly off of the shelves.
This box is even more ill. Follow ASCK!

NIKE ZOOM KOBE VII “YEAR OF THE DRAGON” PACKAGING
After the Zoom KDIV and Air Jordan 2012 “Year of the Dragon” kicks got fresh custom packaging, the Kobe VII had to come out of the gates hard. In my opinion, they didn’t disappoint.
Kobe’s most recent shoes are all the hype for fresh style on a performance model right now, and the “Year of the Dragon” release continues the tradition of hot colorways.

NIKE SB JANOSKI MID PREMIUM QS “INUIT”
Nike SB is a fan favorite, and this beautiful pair of shoes continues the tradition of clean kicks with their Northwest-winter style and beautiful Dark Obsidian ultra premium leather.
These casual/performance kicks feature hiking eyelits and shearling lining that makes me want to keep my feet in them for the rest of the winter. The midsole is a khaki color and the details are brown. You can buy them now for just $100.
I wish I lived somewhere cold so I had an excuse to wear these every single day.

JORDAN CP3.V DESIGN SKETCHES
Complex goes into a huge amount of detail about the Jordan CP3.V, and they totally caught my eye with specific descriptions of the design elements in the shoes.
From things like the size in a guitar pick design on the bottom of his shoes in reference Chris Paul’s bowling obsession, the triangle representing the athlete’s number, the number of triangles representing his grandfather’s age upon his murder, to the Dr. Jeckyll and Mr. Hyde colorway dropping this Summer, Complex’s article is a great read.
I love this stuff.

NIKE ZOOM KOBE VII “NERF” BY MACHE CUSTOMS
Mache has no problem taking the hottest colorway in the sneaker game right now and applying it to the hottest shoes, even if he is keeping this pair for himself. After making over $4,000 on his “NERF” LeBron 9’s, Mache decided to give the scheme one more go before moving on to something else.
The result is, in my opinion, his best “NERF” pair yet. I love the Kobe VII base, and because one can order his own colorway through NikeID, it’s a very diverse shoe. Mache didn’t feel like waiting for a Nike ID pair, however, and instead worked out of a Christmas Day “Cheetah” Zoom Kobe VII as his base.
The end result is heat and you can try to convince him to sell you a pair by contacting him here.
